St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church and School is committed to care for, support and protect all children who enter its doors to learn the love of God in Jesus Christ. The Church, above all institutions, is called to welcome and nurture children. Our goal is to maintain a safe, secure, and loving place where children may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus. ​

To help us maintain a safe environment for all children, anyone who wishes to volunteer at St. Martin's must complete our Youth & Child Safety Training. Volunteers are required to watch the training video and complete a brief form confirming that the training has been viewed and that they agree to abide by its guidelines.

In addition, all volunteers must complete a background check. After the Youth & Child Safety Training video and confirmation form have been completed, instructions and a link for completing the background check will be emailed to you. To remain eligible to volunteer, background checks must be renewed every two years.
